| |
| |
| Q. |
What is slipfree ®? |
| |
|
| A. |
slipfree ® is a new chemical formula that has been patented which modifies the molecular structure of the mineral based surfaces creating a slip-resistant area exceeding all standards for dry surfaces especially in wet conditions |
| |
| |
| Q. |
Why is slipfree ® different to other non slip products for surfaces? |
| |
|
| A. |
It improves dramatically the resistance to slippage in wet conditions when the majority of accidents occur.slipfree ® is a liquid product formulated especially for your
safety. Our fully experienced qualified team is trained to apply the product on different types of surfaces such as: marble, ceramic tiles, terracotta, tiles, granite flooring, cement surfaces etc… |
| |
| |
| Q. |
Will slipfree ® affect the durability of the surface? |
| |
|
| A. |
The treatment is microscopic and will not affect the durability of the surface; however it increases its grip enormously. |
| |
| |
| Q. |
Will slipfree ® change the appearance of the area? |
| |
|
| A. |
Tests by an independent Spanish laboratory concluded there were no significant changes in appearance or texture of the treated surface. Some areas with high brightness can show a small decrease in shine. This is why we always recommend testing a small area prior to application. |
| |
| |
| Q. |
Does slipfree ® increase the surface friction? |
| |
|
| A. |
Depending on the type of mineral surface, the increase in friction on a treated surface will increase when wet between 150% to 500%. These results were established by independent tests in a variety of wet surfaces and measured using the American Slip Mete. |
| |
| |
| Q. |
On what type of surfaces can slipfree ® be applied? |
| |
|
| A. |
It can be applied to the following surfaces: ceramic surfaces, tiles, porcelain, granite, marble, slate, concrete and other hard mineral surfaces. It is recommend not to be applied on diamond polished marble floors. slipfree ® IS NOT a temporary layer. It’s a permanent, superficial and invisible treatment which increases the “coefficient of friction”. |

| |
|
| A. |
slipfree ® does not affect the integrity or colour of the grout, it will simply clean it. |
| |
| |
| Q. |
